Diamond Producers Council Founded to Represent the Future of Diamonds

The Diamond Producers Council (DPC) today announced its establishment as an independent, non-profit organization representing producers dedicated exclusively to the creation of laboratory-grown diamonds.

Founded in April 2026, the Council brings together leading producers whose combined annual production exceeds 20 million carats of laboratory-grown diamonds, creating a unified platform for responsible industry leadership, transparent communication, and scientific education.

The Diamond Producers Council will officially begin its operational activities in April 2026.

A Global Platform for Information and Transparency

The DPC serves as an international point of contact for reliable information about laboratory-grown diamonds.

Through research, data, and independent analysis, the Council aims to provide consumers, policymakers, journalists, and industry stakeholders with fact-based insights, verified statistics, and clear educational resources about the laboratory-grown diamond sector.

The organization does not advocate consumer preference but focuses on enabling informed understanding and transparent dialogue.

“Our role is not to impose opinions, but to provide knowledge.

The Diamond Producers Council delivers transparent, reliable information so consumers can form their own informed perspective.”
