This Code of Conduct defines the principles and standards expected from all members, partners, and stakeholders associated with Diamond Prodcers Council LLC ("the Council").

Our mission is to promote integrity, transparency, and responsible practices within the lab-grown diamond industry.

2. Compliance with Laws

All members and stakeholders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates, including those governing trade, business conduct, and communications.

3. Ethical Business Practices

Members shall conduct their business with honesty, integrity, and fairness.

This includes:

Avoiding deceptive or misleading practices

Acting in good faith in all business dealings

Maintaining professional conduct at all times

4. Transparency and Disclosure

Members must ensure that all claims regarding lab-grown diamonds are accurate, verifiable, and not misleading.

Clear distinction must always be made between:

Lab-grown diamonds

Natural diamonds

Any marketing or communication must reflect this distinction transparently.

5. Consumer Protection

Members shall treat customers fairly and provide clear, accurate, and complete information about products and services.

Any suspicious financial activity must be handled in accordance with regulatory requirements.

7. Conflict of Interest

Members must avoid situations where personal or financial interests conflict with the interests of the Council.

Any potential conflict must be disclosed promptly.

8. Respect and Non-Discrimination

All members shall foster a professional and respectful environment free from discrimination, harassment, or unethical behavior.

9. Confidentiality

Members must protect confidential information obtained through their involvement with the Council and must not disclose such information without proper authorization.

10. Sustainability and Responsibility

Members are encouraged to support sustainable and responsible practices within the lab-grown diamond industry, including environmental and ethical considerations.

11. Breach of the Code

Any violation of this Code of Conduct may result in:

Suspension of membership

Termination of affiliation

Further actions as deemed appropriate by the Council

12. Amendments

Diamond Producrs Council LLC reserves the right to amend this Code of Conduct at any time.

13. Acknowledgment

By engaging with Diamond Producrs Council LLC, members and stakeholders agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct.
